— after being sold at birth for his dangerous genetic mutation, the first 16 years of his life were spent under the tutelage of a woman known as DELPHINIUM, who trained him in the art of kalari, one of the oldest surviving forms of martial arts that draws on an intimate knowledge of vital pressure points with a graceful, dance-like technique. it was with delphi that he learned to become the silent killer WINTERSWEET, using a combination of physical prowess and blood-poison to carry out jobs she would contract for him.

— though sena excelled at the killing part of his life, he was a difficult child that grew into an even more difficult teenager, prone to fits of violent rage between phases of moody darkness and cheerfully caustic glee. his vanity about his appearance fluctuated between pride and loathing, manifesting into a case of bulimia that eventually deteriorated his physical health.

— on his ninety-first contract, at age 17, he nearly lost his life after falling six storeys from the roof of a building into a cluster of camellia bushes. once delphi learned of his increasingly weakening condition, she cut him off and disappeared from his life, leaving him in a hotel room with an envelope by his bedside containing ten thousand dollars.

— now, sena lives the luxuriously frenzied life of a model in high demand, booking jobs with dozens of famous designers and walking in hundreds of fashion shows, but being globally adored isn't enough to soothe the sting of delphi's disappearance at his lowest point. he spends his free time fostering his newfound cocaine addiction and trying to erase his past in manic raves and glittering parties. he can frequently be found in a drunken coma on someone else's floor or hanging out of a window while completely trashed.
